Outside
There can be no doubt that the views are what sets Glendorgal Sands apart. Whether from the upstairs balcony or the terrace you just can't help drinking in the sea air.
Porth is ever changing. One minute it is hundreds of metres of golden sand and just a short while later it is a blue bay with gently rolling waves.
Your large terrace has a gas barbecue, solid teak lounge chairs, and dining table and gets plenty of sun shine.
Out side you can stroll along cliff paths or make your way directly down to the beach (if the tide is out). If the tide is in, both Porth & Lusty Glaze beaches are just a short walk away - NO NEED FOR A CAR!
Porth Beach, above, is a safe quiet sandy beach with limited parking, pub, coffee shop and shop. When the tide is out, the golden sand stretches for hundreds of metres from shore to sea. Great for paddling, sun bathing or beach cricket. When the tide is out it is but a 2 minute walk from the apartment.
Lust Glaze (above right) is unique. A surfing beach in its own right (with regular competitions in summer), it is also home to the adventure centre. The zip wire stretches from one side of the beach to the other. Try your hand at "coasteering" or simply learn to surf. It has a lovely beach side restaurant too.
Just two miles down the coast is Watergate Bay, where Jamie Oliver's "15" has just opened, if you are looking for fine
dining. Newquay and Fistral beaches are also close by if you need a shot of "metropolitan" while you are away.
